 first became interested in Finance when I started investing in the Shanghai/Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 1996 in China. To further improve my financial and investment expertise, I obtained my bachelor degree in Commerce with High Distinction from the University of Toronto in 2005. After graduation I worked for various accounting firms including KPMG where I obtained enormous experience in financial and tax planning including personal, corporation, and income trust. I obtained my Chartered Accountant designation in 2009 and I also currently hold the CPA designation.

Driven by my strong interest in financial investment, I joined Edward Jones in 2016. As a financial advisor, I help my clients mitigate their risk and protect their hard-earned money while working together to grow it. I seek to bring investment, insurance, education, retirement, estate and tax planning strategies into one financial plan that helps my clients achieve their long-term goals.

My goal is to work, build and deepen relationships with my clients who appreciate the excellent service and advice that I provide. I perform regular check-ups with clients for good financial health. Performance monitoring and maintaining an asset allocation in line with your changing profile is central to my role. I will keep you informed of progress toward your goals to ensure you will always have enough and everything will be okay.

I believe education is very important and our team regularly hosts seminars that educate and inspire women, seniors, business owners and their families.

Gordon's is an integrated real estate and transition company, specializing in customers who are settling an estate or downsizing. 

We focus on working with people who are looking for detailed guidance and support for their finances. Whether it be the sale of a property or business, going through a separation or divorce, preparing for retirement, or receiving an inheritance, we help people who are experiencing some kind of financial transition in their life.

Sandra Carreiro is the Branch Office Administrator, and she is dedicated to providing our clients with the highest level of service possible. She can be called on for appointment bookings, copies of statements or tax slips, or account questions in general.

Born and raised in Ottawa, I lived in Kingston for 11 years before relocating to Milton in 2015 to be closer to my family. As well as being a full service Financial Advisor, I also sit on the Board of Directors with the Community Foundation of Halton North (CFHN), am the President of the Halton Scotch Whisky Society, and a lover of Formula One. I live in Milton with my wife, Ami, and our 5 year-old son, Dean.

Holly is an Masters prepared Registered Nurse and MBA Graduate from the Haskayne School of Business in Calgary, AB. She has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, and is currently a Professor of Nursing in the areas of Seniors and Community Health. 

Holly works with marginalized and vulnerable populations as a Designated Capacity Assessor for the Alberta Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee. Holly is knowledgeable, approachable, efficient and responsive, with the ability to travel across the province and country as required. She is a strong advocate, working diligently and ethically to ensure a thorough, dignified and expeditious experience for clients and families. 

Mathew Joseph MSc, PhD, PFA, CHS

I
had the opportunity to experience the value of Life Insurance and Investment early
on in his life. His Uncle suddenly passed away at the age of 45 leaving behind
a stay-at-home widow and 3 children aged 12, 10 and 3. It was devastating for
the family to lose their sole breadwinner. Fortunately, he had an appreciable
amount of life insurance which paid off the mortgage and the balance was
invested in blue chip companies, the income was sufficient for the widow to
focus on her children and their education without going to work. It was this
experience that made Mathew enter the insurance industry so that he can help,
families, small business owners, professionals and retirees plan a strategy to
secure their financial future.

After
completing his PhD in Science from Bombay University, he joined the Tata Group
of companies, which took him to Europe, W Africa, China and US / Canada. His
experience in International Business gives him a clear insight into the
needs of Business owners, a transferable skill he brings into his insurance
practice. His international business exposure also makes it seamless for him to
work with people from all ethnicity and nationalities.

After
migrating to Canada, he joined for RBC Insurance as an Advisor in 2002 and a
year later became an independent Financial Consultant providing Insurance,
Investment, Retirement, Estate and tax planning advice to his clients. He is
very passionate in working with his clients to help them plan a strategy to
secure their financial future.
