had the opportunity to experience the value of Life Insurance and Investment early
on in his life. His Uncle suddenly passed away at the age of 45 leaving behind
a stay-at-home widow and 3 children aged 12, 10 and 3. It was devastating for
the family to lose their sole breadwinner. Fortunately, he had an appreciable
amount of life insurance which paid off the mortgage and the balance was
invested in blue chip companies, the income was sufficient for the widow to
focus on her children and their education without going to work. It was this
experience that made Mathew enter the insurance industry so that he can help,
families, small business owners, professionals and retirees plan a strategy to
secure their financial future.
After
completing his PhD in Science from Bombay University, he joined the Tata Group
of companies, which took him to Europe, W Africa, China and US / Canada. His

practice. His international business exposure also makes it seamless for him to
work with people from all ethnicity and nationalities.
After
migrating to Canada, he joined for RBC Insurance as an Advisor in 2002 and a
year later became an independent Financial Consultant providing Insurance,
Investment, Retirement, Estate and tax planning advice to his clients. He is
