Growing up in a very modest childhood taught me the value of managing finances responsibly and how simple decisions can have a compounding effect in life. Though people are very different in their backgrounds and experiences, many of the decisions we make everyday are based on financial knowledge from countless sources that may not be fully relevant to our situation. The more I've come to understand the complexities involved in responsibly managing one's finances, the more I realize how vital it is to have personalized help and guidance.

Prior to joining Edward Jones, I spent six years in banking, helping individuals at different stages in their life, from people just starting out in the workforce to the complex needs of business owners running larger companies. A career that spans over 35 years, an independent insurance advisor helping family owned private corporations, incorporated professionals and individuals.  
Offering contracts with all major insurance companies and servicing Ontario, Vancouver and Alberta.

Cherie began her financial service career in 2007, working in Toronto on Bay Street with a leading boutique asset management firm. In 2011, she was awarded the President's List award by the Financial Planning Standards Council when she tied for the second highest mark in the country when completing her final certification exam for the CFP designation.

Cherie is now located in Peterborough, where she as a Certified Financial Planner at Lighthouse Private Wealth. She brings her expertise and attention to detail to the planning process for the firm's clients. Cherie works directly with clients providing hands on wealth management and financial planning.
