I have worked in the finance industry for over 10 years and am passionate about investing, retirement planning and finding suitable insurance solutions.

I have attained multiple designations since starting in the field including: Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter, Certified Health Specialist, Certified Consultant on Aging, Certified Executor Advisor, and my Certified Financial Divorce Specialist. 

I help my clients manage their time, energy and most importantly their money so they can achieve their personal goals. Unlike other financial advisors, I have a client first approach. For example, I have a process to help my clients define their values, clarify their goals, understand their situation. I then create a comprehensive plan and provide a simple checklist that they can follow to achieve their goals.

Kim is a seasoned advisor with 18 years of experience helping seniors and pre-retirement clients structure income solutions for their most satisfying years.  Kim's core values are based around honesty and integrity, and are the basis for all of her relationships with her clients.  She believes financial planning goes far beyond the numbers.  She believes it is the journey and the execution of the plan as it pertains to personal circumstances that makes the plan fulfilling and effective.  In the ever changing complex world of investing, Kim helps guide her clients through a planning process to ensure that her clients act on their ultimate wishes.

Kim lives in Bolton with her husband and 3 daughters.  She is a community advocate and is a proud member of the local chamber and is a past Chair.    

Kim is a registered Elder Planning Counselor (EPC), Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS), is Life Licensed and an Investment Representative, and a securities licensed Financial Advisor.

I am a lawyer by training and a Trust Officer at Scotiatrust. I hold my CEA, MFA-P and TEP designations, as well as degrees in both common and civil law (J.D., B.C.L.) from McGill University and an Honours Bachelor of Science (Hon. B.Sc.) from the University of Toronto. 

I represent Scotiatrust as liquidator, co-liquidator or agent on many estates.
