As a Wealth Advisor, it is my responsibility to guide existing and prospective TD customers through the process of transitioning to the world of TD Wealth (a place where specialists work to help simplify - and add value to - the lives of high net worth individuals and families).
I do not manage wealth or investments. Instead, I meet with clients to learn about their values, priorities and goals and then find the appropriate TD specialist to bring into the conversation. TD Wealth has a great team of industry professionals that I regularly turn to in order to provide what I believe to be world class services and advice to my customers.
I am an Estate and Insurance Planner with Odlum Brown Financial Services Limited. I have my CLU, CHS, TEP and CFP designations and wish to continue my education to support my clients.
Jeff began his advisory career in 1988 and created We Listen Financial Planning Solutions in 2007. His focus in the practice is the development of financial plans for his clients. As such, he is in demand from other advisors and offices to demonstrate the importance of financial planning for Canadians.
Jeff is a graduate of the Financial Planning program at Seneca College and also holds the Elder Planning Counselor (EPC) designation – focusing on working with seniors. He is also a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) which focuses on the living benefits aspect of insurance. He holds the RIS designation which earns him the title of being a Responsible Investment Specialist. Finally, Jeff holds the prestigious Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) designation. Jeff has four loves in his life – his family, his practice, travelling and basketball.
As an independent agent, I believe that I serve my clients best by having access to most of the major life insurance companies in Canada. By dealing with a wide range of companies, I can help my clients choose the right solution to their life insurance and living benefit needs.
I provide group employee benefits to individuals and small businesses.
I am also a licensed mutual fund representative through Investia (a member of the Industrial Alliance Group).
I maintain a CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation as well as CH.F.C (Chartered Financial Consultant) and CEA (Certified Executor Advisor) designations.

Over the past 15 years, I've grown a pretty wide toolkit to be able to help my clients. I have my designations as a Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Divorce Specialist, Registered Retirement Consultant and Elder Planning Counsellor.
I got into the financial industry after my divorce. I wanted to make sure that no one could throw anything money related at me that I wouldn't understand. This started a decade plus of learning, and I expect that to continue.
I specialize in the areas of life transitions - retirement and divorce being amongst the biggest. My goal is to be there to empower my family and business owner clients plan, build and sustain their financial strategies throughout life's milestones and challenges. My clients tell me it's like having a knowledgeable friend in your corner. Financial planning is looking forward, while divorce financial planning requires looking backwards in order to move forward. None of this needs to be done alone.
A very dear friend recently passed away. I'm honored to be helping his wife deal with the estate while she's struggling with his loss. This is the impetus for me to take on this new designation, to help executors who are often overwhelmed with grief and need someone they can trust to quarterback what needs happening with lawyers and accountants. I also believe this is key information for estate planning, so that things can be set up right, right from the beginning.
