Member since 2005. He is the founder and CEO of Highland Appraisals Inc., a
real estate appraisal firm serving Fraser Valley and the Lower Mainland.
Highland Appraisals provides services to major financial institutions and
credit unions in Canada including the big five banks, Credit Unions, and Law
Firms. Having experience in appraising multitude of properties over the course
of his career, Jag has seen a variety of different circumstances with differing
markets conditions. Jag decided to further his knowledge by acquiring CEA
designation to better service his clients while expanding his horizon in the
industry.

To do this, I aim to truly understand how you view money, what you want it to accomplish, any concerns you may have, and the goals you’re striving to reach. We’ll also assess your comfort with risk and the timeline for your objectives before putting your money to work for you.

The majority of my clients come to me through referrals, and I value the trust my clients place in me by introducing important relationships. Sometimes, I may not be the right advisor for a referral, and I believe in being upfront about that. If I can’t add value, I will let you know and help guide you in the right direction.

I strongly believe in the importance of an emergency fund, a commitment to saving for your future self, eliminating debt, and using tools like wills and insurance to protect you and your loved ones. I require my clients to engage in regular reviews to ensure we stay aligned with their goals or make adjustments if circumstances change.

At times, I encounter clients who may not be ready to put in the work necessary to achieve their goals. In those cases, they might be better served by other institutions, and that’s perfectly okay. My priority is always to do what’s best for each client, even when that means having a difficult but honest conversation.

While I don’t set New Year’s resolutions, I do choose a word of the year to guide me. For 2025, my word is *aspire*. I am committed to helping my clients—and myself—aspire to all that is possible.

A little about me: I live locally with my husband, Mac, and we have three adult children. Following the same financial advice I offer my clients is a priority for me. I am dedicated to giving back to our community and contributing a percentage of my income to charities each month.

Stephen grew up surrounded by a business minded family who taught him the value of working hard and completing the job. He has brought those same values into both the private and public sector. After having  10+ years of experience with managing and developing departments he began studying and preparing to step into wealth management. In 2020 he joined the Bridgeline Wealth team and has found quick success for his clients.
