We are a professional financial advisory firm specializing in retirement and estate planning.
We spend the necessary time with each of our clients to understand their biggest priorities, deepest concerns and what they value most in life. As an independent, objective planning firm, we have the ability to provide our clients with the advice and financial solutions most suited to their individual needs.
As a Certified Financial Planning Professional, a Chartered Life Underwriter and Certified Health Specialist, I am committed to life-long learning and the ongoing professional development needed to meet the changing needs of my clients.
We are regularly involved in assisting clients who have lost a loved one and are overwhelmed with the duties and responsibilities they face as an executor or executrix. The changing landscape within the estate administration process for people in Ontario has created newer and greater challenges than ever before and I have made the commitment to become a Certified Estate Advisor in or to be of even greater assistance to my clients.
I have been practicing Real Estate Estate law for 33 years in both British Columbia and Alberta. What is unique about my practice is my passion for the law and my compassion for the clients.
I do not have a business at this time. I have worked in the cemetery
industry for over 30 years. Over these many years, I have heard many
terrible stories from those who’ve served as an executor, or have a
sad tale about someone else who served as an executor.
As I look towards
retirement, I feel becoming a Certified Executor Advisor will provide
me a way to continue serving families in my community.
Continued
service to my community may take the shape of my own business,
especially in the short term, or working with a local funeral home.
My present employer has no interest in a CEA at this time.
I hope that the
above is sufficient to allow me to move forward in becoming a CEA.
Thank you.
