Serving as Life and Living Benefits Director with iA Financial Group for over 7 years, I have gained extensive work experience in all
aspects of insurance planning. My most recent role at iA Financial Group is Director of Sales for the Life Insurance division. The Life Director oversees the activities
of all divisions – Life, Living Benefits and Investments – for the accounts/MGAs that fall under my mandate. This position allows me to
take a more holistic approach to coaching and supporting my advisors and MGA partners. I meet with my top advisors on a monthly
basis to set personal goals with them. We discuss successes and failures that they have experienced and we work together to create

My grandfather had a piggy bank in his office with the inscription "Who can never save a penny, shall never have many". As children, my brother and I often played with this piggy bank, and it acted as a very subtle, yet impactful, guide to my relationship with money.
I'm a firm believer in planning for the future and preparing for the unexpected. The biggest difference I make with the clients I serve is to listen. I am not delivering cookie-cutter financial strategies, so listening carefully and wholeheartedly allows me to really understand their stories, backgrounds and goals. Once I understand a client's goals, I create a strategy and customized process for the way we will work together. Then, if unexpected roadblocks arise, we're prepared with a solid, comprehensive strategy to guide us through.
I bring the same discipline and structure into my personal life by creating quarterly plans for my business, my family and my health. I'm a firm believer that what gets measured, gets done. My current plan includes a list of books to read, getting back into running - I was once an avid runner. I also make sure to schedule special one-on-one days with both of my children. Since I live and work in the Beach, our one-to-one days are usually spent outside strolling on the boardwalk, playing in the sand or enjoying the playground at Kew Gardens.
From early on, I was interested in both numbers and people. I have a degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. Serving as a financial advisor allows me to work with both numbers and people and gives me the opportunity to make a real difference.
