I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree with 25 years experience in accounting, auditing, contracting and governance. I chose to focus my efforts in this area as a result of supporting the legal and financial affairs of my parents as they aged. Over time, it became a full time commitment. As the Enduring Power of Attorney, Executor and Agent for both my parents, I began to appreciate how overwhelming just one of these roles could be to an individual who may not have the opportunity to become as prepared as I had over the years. I wanted to take my business and personal experience to help Testators, Executors and those with Power of Attorney to execute their roles with confidence and support.
I possess over 20 years of experience in the IT field specializing in executive support for members of the accounting, government, legal and pharmaceutical sectors.
My transition into Real Estate was a natural progression, as I have traveled to many destinations worldwide developing an appreciation for fine architecture and interior décor. While taking my first few Real Estate courses I knew that I had to specialize to make an impact in the highly competitive Toronto market. So, I etched out a niche that allowed me to continue working closely with seniors.
I found a passion in working with the elderly, from my early years watching my mother who was a Geriatric Nurse for over 40 years’ work with her elderly patients within the community, to working as a Candy Striper and Dietary Aide in several Toronto area hospitals, to owning a company that delivered prescription medication to primarily seniors. My desire to service the aging marketplace compelled me to secure several designations including the Certified Executor Advisor (CEA).
