Upon graduation, he ventured into Investment Banking, specializing in capital raising for Junior E&P companies. Subsequently, he transitioned to a Mergers and Acquisitions team, where he honed his financial acumen by calculating Net Present Values (NPV) and Internal Rates of Return (IRR) for acquisitions worth over a billion dollars.
A lifelong learner, Craig continually expands his knowledge and skills. He holds several prestigious certifications, including Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA), Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations.
Shifting gears from a successful finance career, Craig was drawn to a role that combined his expertise with a more customer-centric focus. At SUMMIT LEGAL GROUP, he provides corporate structure, financial modeling, and forecasting solutions to our small business clients. He leads our estate team, skillfully guiding executors through the intricacies of the probate and estate administration process. Most recently, Craig has earned the Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) designation, making him one of the few professionals in Calgary independently recognized for their expertise in this field.
Outside the professional sphere, Craig values quality time with his family and enjoys a range of hobbies. He's an avid gardener, a history enthusiast, a hiker, and a thrifter with an impressive shoe collection.
