As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, we focus on holistic wealth management practices - encompassing wealth strategies and protection, insurance, tax strategies, estate strategies, charitable giving, inter-generational planning and divorce finances.  As a CEPA, I also work with business owners to help them understand their exit options and ensure that their personal, financial and business plans are aligned.  My practice is well suited for multi-generational families, small business owners and individuals experiencing unique or complex issues.  I offer meetings in-person at your place or my office, Zoom or phone interviews, to suit your lifestyle and needs.  My clients value our close relationship, open and honest communication on a regular basis and a comprehensive financial plan.

We are estate simplifiers providing hands-on assistance to Executors, Trustees and Attorney for property - empowering them with knowledge and know-how.  We help trustees and attorneys fulfill their responsibilities with tailored, personalized support that is charged by the hour - so there is no minimum estate value.   We work with your chosen current professional advisors and supplement them with our professional team, if necessary.  Alternatively, if needed, we can be appointed as the executor or attorney. We also do estate/trust accounting and prepare the court appointed books in passing form.

I am a Certified Executor Advisor recently completing the CICEA curriculum and exam.  After spending 30+ years as a successful National Advertising Executive in the broadcast field of radio, I experienced a personal loss of two close family members which began a journey of education and enlightenment involving the familial stages of terminal illness, grief and death and the daunting task of the transfer of family assets.  This resulted in my fulltime commitment to the field of estate and testator family planning with the intention to become a valuable, sensitive and knowledgeable advisor. 

I live with my wonderful partner, Kerry, in Calgary and we have 3 adult children between us, and two grandchildren, so needless to say, there is always a fun family event that is being planned or executed!

As the son of an entrepreneur, I learned early in life the value of helping others. From my first part time job delivering groceries to seniors on my bicycle at 13, to my first full time job helping farmers take care of their families, to spending the last 23 years helping small businesses run more efficiently so they can focus on their main business goals, I always felt rewarded by the trust and appreciation others showed when you help them out.

After being an Edward Jones client for 20 years and seeing first-hand how their established process helps clients achieve what is important to them, I am now proud to be working with this great firm to help accomplish the same for others.

Relationships are key, and in my view, meeting face to face is what builds strong relationships. I meet when and where it’s convenient for my clients because I recognize the challenging needs of their businesses and their lives.

As a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones, starting a new branch to serve Central and Northern Hastings County, it's critical that I spend my time getting to know my clients in order to truly understand what's most important to them. In fact, I can't imagine being able to fulfill my role without having a firm understanding of the individuals and families that I serve in my community.

When I am not meeting with clients, I enjoy spending time on our farm outside of Queensborough with my wife, Susan and our three dogs, Guinness, Lily and Winston.

Executor Advisor (CEA), a licensed Life Insurance Broker and financial advisor
(LLQP).  She also holds a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL)
designation and is a good standing
member of both Advocis (financial planners) and HRPAO (human resources) associations.

Isabelle serves as Board Chair and Finance Committee member for the Community of YWCA Muskoka charitable foundation in Bracebridge.

In her spare time, Isabelle can be found on the golf course with her hubby, creating in her kitchen, puttering in the gardening and enjoying Netflix dramas.
