I have worked extensively in the areas of business development and practice management. Since 1981, I have worked across Canada in the financial services industry as a product and marketing specialist, customer service representative and small business consultant where I helped independent advisors, entrepreneurs, and clients achieve their business and personal financial objectives. I joined HUB Financial, (the largest Financial and Insurance Brokerage in North America), in 1998 and as Regional Vice President, successfully developed the Prairie Region into one of the most successful regions in the country. Also, I was involved in the initial planning and implementation of HUB's mutual fund dealership, HUB Capital Inc.
I have served on many industry focus group panels and corporate strategic planning initiatives. I have served on the executive board for Advocis, the Canadian Association of Financial & Insurance Advisors. In addition to my professional affiliations, I stay active in my community and was one of the founding directors of the Kiwanis Club of Calgary Metro.
I have worked in the finance industry since 1998. I’ve
been a Lender, Account and Investment Specialist and currently I work in
our Operations Support Department as an Estates Specialist. My passion is
helping people. I became interested in learning and helping others with the
Estate process after I became an Executor myself. I realized I had a lot of
questions and found it difficult to get answers. I want to be the person who
shares everything I’ve learned with others so that I can help them navigate their
way along the path of settling an Estate. CEA, ACRML

I began my career in banking and accounting, and established several companies: insurance brokerages, pension and employee benefit consulting firms, as well as estate planning consulting companies. My career has taken me to the boardroom and kitchen tables. My experience in corporate and personal finance has led me to consult on exit strategies for my clients and their companies.
Though my work in estate and financial planning, I have been a speaker and chairman of seminars on estate preservation and charitable giving. A Co-founder of the Halifax Estate Planning Council. My clients knew me as a trusted financial advisor who delivered creative financial solutions to their complex financial challenges. I performed for my clients as 100% independent of any financial company, enabling me to offer the best possible advice based on their unique needs.
My work in the estate planning field has led me to now focus on Funeral Pre- Planning, "The Missing Link in Estate Planning" I now am associated with JA Snow Funeral Home in Halifax (Dignity Memorial, largest funeral provider in North America) I am a pre- arrangement advisor, counselling families on the important decisions that must be made at an emotional and difficult time in their lives.
My financial background, and knowledge of financial products, bodes well for working with other advisors on independent executorships.

As a child I was precocious, competitive and loved learning, math and numbers came easy for me. When I was eight, I got my first job, selling greeting cards door-to-door, and depositing hard-earned dollars into my bank account. While I loved making money, I was very intentional about how I spent it, I always had a goal - my bike, my watch, my camera. I became very self-sufficient. I thought being a CPA would be ideal, but it wasn’t just the numbers I loved, it was more the influence I could have in helping others.
When I became a financial advisor, I quickly learned that, while I loved managing money, to my female clients, money and investing made them feel overwhelmed, uncomfortable and less than capable. I knew these women were smart and capable, so I began to focus on them, what was important to them and then steadily engaging them in the world of finance in a way that empowered them.
That’s why my true purpose is about creating an environment where every woman and their family is encouraged to learn, to grow and to gain the knowledge they need to feel confident in their financial future.
I use a savvy, confident lifestyle approach to address the unique challenges that face many women. By gently guiding them through my established process, I design prioritized goals that are aligned with their values and vision. A personal investment strategy is created to balance their desire for safety with their need for income and growth.
If this approach appeals to you and your family, please call me.
