The first two decades of my career was In bookkeeping & systems, real estate and mortgages, banking and wealth management. Since then, I have shifted to risk management and life insurance and that was 15 years ago.
As a financial service professional, I strive to keep abreast of my knowledge in industry development through designation programs and at times taking relevant CE courses.
I am passionate when it comes to serving my customers. I am caring, focus and methodical and I enjoy problem solving.

Previously, Shirley worked within the estates and trust practice of a major Toronto law firm and continues to specialize in the preparation of estate accounts, including estate administration, planning and tax filing compliance, with her network of business partners. She is involved as a board member for a number of non-profit organizations and is a member of EPCOH (Estate Planners Council of Halton)

Brent has held executive leadership roles, as well as senior regional field management positions representing national public insurance corporations, investment banking institutions, as well as privately held financial advisory services corporations.
In addition to his professional designations, he is a member of Advocis, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada since 1984, CALU, The Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting and The Institute for Advanced Financial Education, The Financial Planners Standards Council, and The Million Dollar Round Table.
Brent is currently serving as Chair, Professional Development, he was also the Past President of the Board of Directors for the Advocis Peel/Halton Chapter in 2009-2010. Additionally, he is serving as a Trustee for the Institute of Advanced Financial Education and sits on the National Advocis Finance committee. Finally, he recently completed his second 2 year mandate as President of the Estate Planning Council of Mississauga where he has been a member since 2008.
Brent is actively involved with the establishment of the CEAN (Certified Executor Advisor Network) a not for profit association focused on the collaboration of like minded CEA's for the betterment and literacy of testators and their designated executors.
In his spare time, Brent is active with select charities including the Community Foundation of Mississauga and enjoys traveling, golf, boating, flying and the occasional poker game.
