Devyn received an Associates’s Degree in Marketing from Red River College in 2015, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Winnipeg in 2017, and completed the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) in 2021. Devyn started his career in finance as soon as he graduated university and moved to RIVR Financial in 2021.

As an Advisor at RIVR Financial, Devyn provides personal solutions for families and individuals through insurance and investments and is passionate about assisting those working through estates.

With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, I have been actively engaged in fostering strong client relationships and helping clients achieve their personal financial goals.  I hold a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics degree from the University of Toronto.  My commitment to continuous education has earned me the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation conferred by the Financial Planning Standards Council.

Working with people for the last 27 years, I understand the importance of planning!  Both my parents lived into their 90's.  My Dad had lymphoma and ended up living with us in the last days of his life.  My mother had Alzheimer's and had to be put into a nursing home.

It is my passion to help people with their estate, to pass it down exactly as they wish and as tax efficient as possible.   

I have a background in accounting and human resources with a Business Administration diploma from Okanagan College. I live
in Williams Lake BC, where my father works as a Certified financial planner and
he mentioned to me that there is a need in our community for this role as no
one else currently does it.

Market Manager for TD Private Wealth Management. I manage a Team of TD Wealth professionals 8 Wealth Advisors, 16 Private Bankers and a amazing team of 4 Private Trust  officers.  We cover from Hwy 27 to Oshawa and Finch to Hwy 9 of the Greater Toronto Area. I am a CFP, RRC, CIFP and CEA.

Tom began his financial services career in the banking sector and quickly understood that clients wanted "personalized service". In 1988 Tom became a Life Insurance Agent specializing in personal, estate and retirement planning. In 2000, he obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and in 2016 Tom completed his CCS (Cash Flow Planning Specialist Designation). He feels good about providing a written financial plan that allows individuals to get their financial power back by adding debt and cash flow management to their financial planning process.

Growing up in Naples, Emma is wholly connected to the community and loves living in paradise! Prior to joining her Mom, Jane Wood, at John R. Wood, she was working in Toronto for a boutique investment firm focused on client services and business development. Emma is also a Certified Executor Advisor. Providing the ultimate concierge experience is imperative for Emma, and working on a team only enhances the boutique-style approach that Jane has cultivated over the years. Emma graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management. In her free time, Emma enjoys working out, playing tennis, trying new restaurants and is an avid shopper!

Wade has over a decade of experience working as a Financial Advisor in the Ottawa area. He focuses on building strong relationships with his clients and getting an understanding of what is truly important to them, before any work begins.

Wade helps clients to prepare their estates to maximize the benefit to their eventual beneficiaries and ensure that the executor can wind up the estates as efficiently as possible to minimize stress and problems. He also helps executors by coaching them on the steps that need to be taken and providing the tools to make it as easy of an experience as possible. 

Bill has been a financial advisor and planner since 1996.  His focus, and that of his team, has always been on planning first.  In Bill's own words, "Only through the exercise of developing long term plans to realize personal goals and dreams am I able to truly provide the financial advise and counsel that clients are looking for."   Bill has B.Math, B.Ed, CIS, CLU, CFP, CIM and CEA designations.
