I bring more than 23 years of experience in financial planning
to my role as an Estate and Trust Advisor for clients across British Columbia.
My depth of experience, coupled with my professionalism and dedication
to client service, serves well in dealing with the complexities of estate
settlement.
I discuss estate settlement and administration services, trustee
services, trust structures, and other specialized services offered through
RBC Royal Trust. I work with individuals, families and businesses who
wish to protect their assets and transfer their wealth for generations. Clients
also appreciate my sensitivity to the often difficult decisions and sometimes
overwhelming responsibilities that can go hand in hand with the role of
executor.
Throughout my career, I have continued to deepen my knowledge
and expertise with key industry designations such as Personal Financial
Planner (PFP), Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP), and courses like
Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) and Branch Compliance Officer (BCO). I am a recurring member of the Estate Planning Councils.

estate’s value through knowledgeable handling of estate and tax issues

As a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, my desire to serve others comes from the heart. I understand the need for care, compassion and professional conduct when serving families. In my role as a Certified Executive Advisor, I extend this same care and professionalism to the Executor when they are handling the affairs of the deceased. Advice and guidance are also given to individuals who have not yet chosen an Executor to ensure their estates are well prepared.

Supporting families and individuals at one of their most vulnerable times is a passion and commitment of mine. I truly look forward to advising and assisting those interested in my services.

Having recently retired after 30 years of practice as a Professional Financial Advisor , I
take great pride in having been able to help many clients achieve a scure financial future. Each
of us has a good story to tell and some of them may touch on your dreams and needs when it comes to making plan for your will.

Through my past experience with Estate Planning, I came to realize the complexity in administering the Estate when someone close to us is gone.  Moving forward, I am committed to dedicate my retirement years in providing guidance to
executors young or old, to deal with the fast changing responsibilities evolving an estate settlement.  I am proficient in the English language and also speaks and write fluent Cantonese as well as Mandarin.

As and advancement officer for the Vancouver Island University Foundation, my role is to work with annual, endowment, trust and planned giving donors. Previous to this role, I was a financial planner with a keen interest in estate planning, charitable and planned giving.
