Sharla Behnke is the Manager of Estates & Registered Plans with Access Credit Union.  Access Credit Union serves to connect Manitoba and its members and operates all across the province.

As the leader in the area of estate administration, some of my top priorities is to serve our clients and members with excellence, invest in our communities and empower our staff through continuing education to achieve their full potential.

The focus of my practice at Edward Jones is to provide my clients with a clear, intuitive pathway to help build out the future they want. I believe in a holistic approach which means clarifying your expectations and goals, before we ever talk about investments. My expectation is that my clients will feel confident, calm, and assured that they have someone they can trust. You deserve more than an "advisor" putting you in expensive products, with basic advice.

Prior to joining Edward Jones, I worked in refineries as a measurement and control technician. I had a great, very technical career, at a top company in the industry; I decided to leave that behind because I saw friends and coworkers who had "financial advisors", getting sold cookie cutter planning and products, with no idea how much they were paying. They deserved more.

Coming from an industry where missing details can mean not going home to your family, I have applied that same level of diligence with my clients and their details. Every detail matters. Working with, and helping clients build strategies tailored for them is all I do now, and I love it.

I have a flexible process to get to know my clients, what's important to them, and to see how we might fit. Having owned a business, I work exceptionally well with business owners, as well as their accountants and lawyers. If you think you want to have a discussion, it's my commitment to have an open, friendly conversation, and my aim is to give you the best service you will ever receive.

I'm delighted to have been with my wife for over 10 years, and we love trying to keep up with our lively little girl. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, kayaking, skiing, hiking, and gardening. Life's about more than money, and it's important you work with someone who understands that.

Anne received her Certified General Accountant designation in 2000 and was the recipient of the McGillivray Partners Award for Accounting Excellence.

Anne is a partner with Henderson Roller Partnership and has been  in public practice for over 28 years.  She consults to her clients on accounting, corporate and personal tax preparation and payroll.

Anne’s clientele includes business owner / managers and her expertise is in preparation of estate and trust and non resident tax returns.

Having extensive personal experience as an Estate Executor due
to the loss of several family members, Steve is very knowledgeable and
understanding of all that is entailed in arranging funerals and doing all the
requirements to bring an estate to conclusion. 
His ability to manage them so skilfully is backed by a wealth of
experience in his business career which includes a degree in accounting and 30
years as a Senior IT Project Manager
for Fortune 500 companies like IBM, Hewlett Packard & Petro Canada.  Steve also has a background in housing construction
and he is Certified Master Home Inspector.

Outside of work Steve is happily married, loves to travel, to
go camping, and he has a passion for fly fishing.

With a background spanning finance, property management, and nonprofit leadership, I offer a rare blend of financial insight and compassionate, practical guidance. For more than 25 years, I have supported executors and families through complex estate matters with care, precision, and calm leadership—helping ensure the right details are handled at the right time.

I created my company because, over the years, I’ve seen a clear and growing need for practical executor support. Most people who are asked to be an executor don’t fully realize what they’ve agreed to—until they’re suddenly navigating legal, financial, and family responsibilities while grieving someone they love. In those moments, decision-making can feel overwhelming, and even well-intentioned families can struggle to stay aligned. This is where I step in: bringing clarity, steady guidance, and a calm process so beneficiaries understand what needs to happen and executors feel supported every step of the way.

I also work with Financial Concierge, providing an alternative option for individuals and families who are looking to appoint a Power of Attorney (POA) or name an Executor. I’m a member of CICEA and the Greater Vancouver Estate Planning Council, and I’m the past Chair of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (Vancouver Chapter).

Our investment approach focuses on key principles and strategies.  One of the key principles is our personalized and customized approach to meet the needs of our clients through quality products and client service; and, we do not believe in locking our clients into any term investment.  We believe clients should be able to move investments from one firm or bank to another without penalties or fees.  We are active management fee based advisors.
