I graduated from École Technique et Professional (University St. Boniface) in 2002; I joined Talbot & Associates shortly after that.
In 2012, I obtained a bachelor of commerce degree from Laurentian University, and a Certified General Accountant (now Chartered Professional Accountant) designation later that year.
After obtaining my CGA designation, I became one of T&A’s partners, then also, St. Boniface Office Manager.
I provide accounting and tax services, as well as consulting services to personal and corporate clients. I also manage our Trusts and Estates tax department.
Mark is president of the Canadian Institute of Certified Executor Advisors (and also of Strategic Edge Chartered Financial Consulting Inc, which provides integrated tax strategies for Canadians through their professional advisors). His career includes senior management positions with national wealth and insurance companies, where he developed innovative business strategies and provided training, marketing materials and case consultation to financial advisors across the country.
A graduate of Ashbury College in Ottawa and Western University in London, Mark is a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, registered Trust and Estates Practitioner and Certified Executor Advisor. He is licensed to conduct business in every province and territory in Canada.
In addition to CICEA, he is a member of Advocis (the Financial Advisors Association of Canada), the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP), the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Mark has given hundreds of seminars across Canada, to the public, professional associations, study groups, Canadian businesses, industry symposia and aboard continuing education cruise ships around the world. He has been speaking about the important role of executors and on estate tax strategies for more than 25 years.

Gordon Paul is a CPA, CMA, CEA, B.Comm(HA) and a B.A. Gordon is a senior
executive, with over 35 years of business experience in the for-profit public and
private sectors. Gordon retired from his position as VP Finance and CFO of a Corporation which owned more than 35 legal entities. He has had diversified industry
experience including oil and gas, regulated utilities, property development,
manufacturing, distribution, retail and consulting services. He has a proven track
record in providing focused and value added customer service and in
building business partnerships. Effective interpersonal, negotiation,
organizational, and strategic planning skills executed through a detail oriented hands-on approach.
I am an accredited appraiser with Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI) and have worked as a tax assessor and property appraiser in rural Manitoba for over 30 years. I specialize in agricultural appraisals.
Margot practices in the area of civil litigation, focusing on commercial, construction and estate law related issues. Margot is a member of the firm's Construction Law and Financial Loss Recovery practice groups. Fluently bilingual, Margot represents both Francophone and Anglophone clients and argues matters before the courts in both official languages.
Margot attended the University of Ottawa, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Political Science in 2007 and graduated from the Faculty of Law in 2010. After articling for Doucet McBride LLP in 2010-2011, she joined the firm as an associate following her call to the Ontario Bar in June 2011.
Prior to 2010, Margot developed experience in various legal positions with the federal public service in areas of program delivery and policy, including with the Department of National Defence with the Office of the Judge Advocate General (JAG), the Office to the Secretary to the Governor General of Canada (OSGG), and Transport Canada (TC).
A proud member of the Ontario Bar Association and the County of Carleton Law Association, Margot also delights in supporting a variety of Eastern Ontario and capital area community groups and events.
Outside the office Margot enjoys golf, volleyball, yoga, entertaining family and friends, as well as spending quality time traveling with her husband.
Rosaline has over 20 years experience in financial services relating to insurance and investments. She coaches individuals to help them find solutions to help them navigate through their financial path. She teaches financial literacy through continuing education and volunteer programs for all ages. Her focus is to communicate topics relating to wealth accumulation and risk management in clear and simple language for all ages.
